Young Engineers Australia

Young Engineers Australia (or YEA, as it's commonly known) is the single largest subgroup within Engineers Australia, comprised of young engineers (between 18 and 35 years old) who are students or graduates of a tertiary engineering qualification (University, TAFE/VET).

What does YEA do?

YEA exists to represent, support and provide a voice for young engineers across Australia helping them to build their careers and promote their profession.

Loads of fantastic events are planned and delivered each year by YEA, including:

  • Networking Sessions
  • Social Events
  • Career Support Groups
  • Mentoring Sessions
  • Educational Events
  • Technical Presentations
  • Workshops
  • Panel Discussions
  • Site Tours

YEA is also involved in various STEM programs and activities to promote the engineering profession to school-age students.
